Hannah brings 10 years of experience in engaging and supporting multi-national customer accounts with a background in retail and CRE. She also focuses on analysis and utilization of market insights, ensuring relevance of product offerings to partners and customers. Hannah holds an MBA from Columbia Business School. At BuildingMinds, Hannah leverages her expertise to drive the company's commercial strategies.

Head of Go-To-Market & Communications

Peter Panayi is an award-winning go-to-market strategist and thought leader in real estate technology. As Head of Go-To-Market at BuildingMinds, he leads commercial strategy, client growth, and market expansion across Europe, the US, and the Middle East. In 2024, he received the Future Leader Award from the UK PropTech Association for his visionary approach to proptech adoption and driving commercial impact. Peter specializes in sustainability, digital transformation, and enterprise sales, working with investors, developers, and asset managers to scale data-driven solutions that decarbonize real estate portfolios.

Ottavia is a dynamic entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record in establishing and optimizing operations and sales processes in Europe and internationally. With a Double MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and a Major in Sustainability, Ottavia excels in negotiation, key accounting, and strategic planning. Passionate about social impact, sustainability, green innovation, and B2B decarbonization solutions, Ottavia at BuildingMinds is leading the sales team, creating strategic sales plans, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners across Europe, setting ambitious sales targets for the company's growth and success.

Strategic Sales Channel Lead

With several years of experience, Jan focuses on digitalization and decarbonization of the real estate industry. His background is further supported by an extensive academic education in Management of Information Systems and a Master’s in Global Business & Sustainability from the Rotterdam School of Management. At BuildingMinds, Jan is leading the Sales development team and is entrusted with the handling of RFP processes of institutional investors.

Tobias Ungermanns

Head of Solution Design

With a decade of experience in Management and Technology Consulting at BearingPoint and Cenit AG, Tobias has led process and data harmonization, system rollouts, and migration projects. His expertise extends to product lifecycle management and product development processes across Automotive, Machinery, Industrial Equipment, and Aerospace sectors. With a Master of Engineering from the Center for Advanced Studies at DHBW, Tobias thrives in fast-paced dynamic environments. At BuildingMinds, he is leading the Solution Design Team, overseeing pre-sales, business solution design, tender processes, due diligence, and customer contract management.

Luise Von Dryander

Director of Strategic Partnerships

Luise brings over 10 years of professional experience, including more than 5 years in the Real Estate Industry, in business development and strategic partnerships. As a fully qualified lawyer with first and second state examinations, she has expertise in legal advice, scientific research, sales, and partnership management. At BuildingMinds, Luise is responsible for establishing, concluding, and managing strategic partnerships, including developing and executing joint go-to-market strategies, formulating business models, and launching collaborative projects to drive innovation and growth.

History

Time flies – and with time, comes experience

BuildingMinds was founded in 2018 by Schindler Group, the Swiss multinational manufacturer of escalators, moving walkways and elevators, to meet the company's need for building data monitoring and management.

With EUR 150 million in funding from Schindler and technological support from Microsoft, we have since expanded to become a major international provider of software as a service (SaaS) for real estate managers, meeting their needs in the areas of reporting and ESG, portfolio management and digital building twins. Our portfolio of services is continuously growing.
