Hanno Schrecker, MRICS

Managing Director & Board Advisor | Real Estate Strategy & Transformation

Hanno Schrecker, MRICS is a Managing Director and board advisor with extensive experience driving strategic and operational transformation across the European real estate sector. He specialises in leading change initiatives across the full asset lifecycle, supporting investors and operating platforms in improving performance, governance, and execution.

He currently serves as Managing Director and Head of Germany at PAREF Investment Management and is the Founder and Managing Partner of Aoakore, an advisory boutique working with private equity and high-net-worth clients on real estate strategy, development, and organisational transformation. Over his career, Hanno has held senior leadership roles across investment management, development, and asset operations, contributing to large, complex real estate platforms across multiple markets and asset classes.

Hanno is known for translating strategy into execution — integrating investment, technical, and regulatory considerations while building high-performing teams and trusted relationships with investors and board-level stakeholders. He brings deep cross-market expertise spanning multiple asset classes and geographies. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering, is a Member of RICS, and is based in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main region.

Arnie is a former Managing Director and Head of Ventures at Round Hill Capital, a global real estate and real assets investment firm with over $7 billion in assets under management. He founded and led Round Hill Ventures, the firm’s venture investment platform focused on the built environment, where he raised over €150 million to back technology companies transforming real estate, infrastructure, and urban systems.

Previously, Arnie held senior investment and operating roles across real estate and high-growth technology businesses, including at Capital & Counties Properties PLC (now part of Shaftesbury Capital), and as Interim COO at Bloomsbury AI, which was subsequently acquired by Facebook.

Arnie completed his undergraduate studies at Imperial College London. He serves on multiple boards and advisory boards spanning climate, technology, and the built environment, and is an active contributor to industry dialogue on the future of urban living, sustainable infrastructure, and the role of technology in transforming real estate markets globally.

Robbie Epsom

Robbie Epsom is an award-winning executive sustainability leader with deep experience integrating ESG, climate strategy and value creation across global real asset platforms. He most recently served as EMEA Head of Sustainability and Senior Director at CBRE Investment Management, where he led sustainability strategy across the EMEA region, embedding ESG into investment, risk and operating decisions.

As a member of the European Leadership Team and an executive voting member of key investment and risk committees, Robbie positioned sustainability as a core driver of performance, resilience, and long-term value, harmonising ESG practices across diverse real estate and infrastructure portfolios.

Prior to CBRE Investment Management, Robbie spent over a decade in sustainability and infrastructure advisory, supporting complex real asset portfolios through ESG strategy, decarbonisation, climate risk and regulatory change. He contributes to shaping international sustainability standards through senior roles across multiple industry bodies.

Robbie is a Chartered Environmentalist, Vice-Chair of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability, and a recognised industry voice, having received the SocEnv Environmental Professional of the Year Award (2025) and the MIPIM Global ESG Leadership Award (2025). He is based in the United Kingdom.

Stephen Rouatt

Sustainability Advocate | Former CEO Signify UK&I | Net-Zero & Electrification Leader

Stephen Rouatt is a prominent advocate for sustainability in the built environment. He is the former UK&I CEO for Signify (Philips Lighting) and currently Benelux MD for Rotork. He has been a member of multiple influential working groups including the UK Green Building Council, the Construction Leadership Council, the Corporate Leaders Group, and the World Economic Forum, sharing expertise on energy efficiency, net-zero strategies, and sustainable construction.

He has actively contributed to high-level policy and industry discussions on decarbonising buildings and infrastructure, and regularly presents at industry events and in the media.

Stephen’s network spans leaders across architecture, engineering, and real estate finance. He provides thought leadership on circular economy principles, retrofit policies, sustainability through electrification, and low-carbon design, bridging corporate strategy, green-building advocacy, and multi-stakeholder collaboration. He is originally from Canada and currently splits his time between Amsterdam and London.

Iwan van Bilsen

Former Head of Europe, RICS | Partner, GSI Capital

Iwan van Bilsen is a senior executive and strategic connector operating at the intersection of real estate, capital, technology and public policy. He has extensive experience aligning public and private stakeholders to enable scalable investment, transparent decision-making and sustainable development within the built environment.

Until recently, Iwan served as Head of Europe at RICS, leading European strategy, market development and partnerships across more than 25 countries and representing the organisation in discussions with national governments and EU institutions — including collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of the Interior on land valuation transparency to accelerate housing delivery.

Alongside his institutional experience, Iwan is a Partner at GSI Capital, focusing on investments in sustainable real assets and technology-enabled platforms, and an Advisory Board Member at BuildingMinds, where he supports data-driven, ESG-led portfolio transformation.

Iwan is known for translating strategy into executable business models, structuring cross-sector partnerships and mobilising capital to deliver measurable economic and societal impact. He is based in the Netherlands.

Michel Greter

Michel Greter is a sustainable investment advisor specialising in climate resilience, net-zero strategies, and ESG integration across global real estate portfolios. With over a decade of experience spanning Europe, Asia, and Latin America, he has worked closely with institutional investors to embed sustainability, climate risk management, and decarbonisation pathways into investment and asset-management decision-making.

Most recently, Michel served as Global Real Estate ESG Lead (VP) at Partners Group, leading ESG strategy across international real estate investments and supporting value creation through energy efficiency, climate-risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to this, he was an Investment Manager at Asia Green Real Estate, covering Singapore, Indonesia, and major Chinese cities, and earlier held asset-management roles at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield in Germany.

Michel holds a CEMS Master’s in International Management, completed executive education in Business Sustainability Management at the University of Cambridge, and holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing. Multilingual and globally mobile, he is currently based in São Paulo, Brazil.
