BuildingMinds welcomes Alexey Ershov as Chief Technology & Product Officer

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Alexey Ershov has joined the senior leadership team of BuildingMinds as the Chief Technology & Product Officer. In his newly created position, Alexey will spearhead the development of cutting-edge technology and product strategies, driving growth, fostering innovation, and elevating the overall customer experience. Thanks to his outstanding experience in data and analytics, he will play an integral part in our company’s future.  

Dr. Alexey Ershov is a senior tech executive with over 20 years of international experience in data and analytics, AI/ML, digital transformation, Internet of Things, Smart Cities, and retail.  Throughout his career, Alexey has led global teams in analytics, sales, product development, and management consulting. He started his business career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company in the United States. As a Vice President at IBM, Alexey led global sales and analytics teams and was based the U.S., Germany, Spain, Russia, and China. As an Executive Vice President at Lidl, he built analytics department and led business-focused analytics transformation at one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing retailers. Alexey holds a Ph.D. degree in Experimental Elementary Particle Physics from Harvard University.
